Lamborghini Veneno

2026-11-03 19:00:06

The Lamborghini Veneno stands as the most extreme limited-production hypercar in Lamborghini's history. Its moniker translates to "poison" in Spanish, which is why local car enthusiasts often refer to it as "Poison". Unveiled in 2013, it was crafted as the ultimate tribute to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini brand.

🏎️ Key Specifications and Performance

Built around the Aventador's carbon-fibre monocoque chassis, the Veneno pushes aerodynamics and lightweight engineering to far more extreme heights.

  • Powertrain: Powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine tuned to pump out 750 hp, paired with a 7-speed ISR gearbox.

  • Extreme Performance: Completes the 0-100 km/h century sprint in just 2.8 seconds, with top speed reaching 355 km/h.

  • Lightweight Build & Downforce: Thanks to extensive carbon-fibre construction, kerb weight is kept down to 1,450 kg. Its exterior design is strictly aerodynamically driven; the massive front splitter, side aero foils, central "shark fin", and adjustable rear wing are all engineered to generate immense high-speed downforce, delivering racecar-level stability.

💎 Rarity and Market Value

The Veneno's sheer scarcity is the main driver of its astronomical market value. Only 3 units of the Coupe were ever produced for customers globally, alongside just 9 units of the Roadster, with an additional factory Coupe retained permanently in the Lamborghini Museum.

The three customer Coupes were accented in the individual red, white, and green colours of the Italian tricolour flag, and were priced at around RM3,000,000 to RM3,600,000 (excluding taxes) at launch—all of which were fully accounted for prior to their official unveiling.

Given its extreme rarity, the Veneno's price on the pre-owned market has escalated exponentially. In early 2026, a silver Coupe with an odometer reading of only around 200 km was listed for an eye-watering RM16,900,000. Prior to this, a Roadster had already changed hands for approximately RM8,350,000, while another Coupe was once quoted at RM6,000,000, multiplying several times over its original launch price.

The Veneno represents Lamborghini's uninhibited tour de force in extreme styling and aerodynamic packaging during the pure internal combustion era. Far beyond being merely a radical evolution of the Aventador, it is effectively a road-legal racing prototype whose significance transcends ordinary transport, standing as a prized piece of mechanical art sought after by elite collectors.
